The CoolForce™ layer is included rather than optional, so the cool-to-touch surface and the phase-change cooling come as standard. The other difference is a layer of individually wrapped microcoils inside the comfort system, which makes the top of the bed noticeably more responsive - it lifts with you as you move instead of holding an impression. Three feels, same cooling and same support core. Soft is for side sleepers who want the microcoil layer to cradle shoulders and hips. Medium is the broadest choice and what we suggest for couples. Firm keeps you higher on the surface for back and stomach sleeping. We wanted to test out Helix mattresses after the reviews I read online, and this store is the only one that keeps them out on the floor on the west side of Houston. Saad did a great job of helping my husband and I narrow our choices down. He was very patient and answered all our questions on the differences and the manufacturing process. We ended up making the purchase since the store gave us additional items/discount.
