A 12-inch, four-layer build puts a gel-infused quilted top and firm TitanFlex comfort foam over an 8-inch core of up to 900 individually encased TitanCore coils, and the manufacturer rates it to support up to 1,000 pounds. It is a true firm hybrid rather than a plush one, so heavier sleepers get support first and cushioning second. If you want more contouring, the Titan Plus Luxe and Titan Plus Elite build on the same coil core with softer comfort layers.
The Titan Plus Core comes in one feel, which the manufacturer describes as firm. The firm sleep surface keeps the hips from sinking so the spine stays aligned, which is why Brooklyn Bedding recommends it for back and stomach sleepers and for anyone who wants durable, supportive comfort. The high-density foams are chosen to resist the sagging and softening that plus-size sleepers often see on standard mattresses, and the encased coil core helps limit motion transfer and firms up the edges. If you need more give at the shoulders and hips, or your partner weighs under 250 pounds, the manufacturer points to the medium-feel Titan Plus Luxe instead.
